Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account data — name, email, business details you enter.
- Estimate data — clients, line items, photos and notes you add.
- Usage data — screens used, crashes, device type; used to keep the app working.
- Permissions — camera, photos, contacts and notifications only when you turn them on, only for the feature you're using. Contacts are never uploaded.
How we use it
To run the Service: build and deliver your estimates, show your business card, notify you when a client responds, and support you when you ask. We don't sell your data and we don't use client details for advertising.
Sharing
Client portal links share the specific estimate with the person you send it to. We use service providers for hosting, email/SMS delivery, analytics and crash reporting under contracts that limit how they use data. Payments are processed by Polar on the web, or by Apple or Google in the mobile app; we never see your card details.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. Deleting your account (Settings › Account › Delete account) removes it after a 14-day grace period, except records we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Your rights
You can download a copy of your data (Settings › Account › Export my data), correct it, or delete your account from the app, or do any of these by emailing privacy@estimq.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under GDPR, CCPA or similar laws.
Children
EstimQ is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 16.
